THE HOUSE
Grays' Haven is just that to its owners, Peter and Hilary Gray. It is the place they have chosen for their retirement
after each serving over thirty years in the teaching profession. They have lived in Edmonton for fifteen years after
emigrating from England in 1967 and teaching most of the time in rural Alberta schools. Peter retired in 1999, Hilary
retired in June 2002, and Grays' Haven opened in August of the same year.
THE LOCATION
The house is conveniently located in the heart of the university district, south of the North Saskatchewan River, close
to the University Hospital, the Jubilee Auditorium, the Butterdome, and Foote Field. It is only a short distance to
Southgate Shopping Mall, and easy transportation to the International Airport, WEM, Rexall Place, Commonwealth Stadium,
and Downtown, as well as within walking distance of the Old Strathcona district. There are many other attractions.
Please ask about them.
